wimbledon wimbledon wimbledon

so london is starting to grow on me. i was kinda turned off at first because its such a modern city and its absolutely massive and the exchange rate is just down right depressing. but im loving it more and more everyday. the people are so friendly, everyone speaks english, and i love the pub food and english beers. i got the opportunity of a life time on friday to go to wimbledon. it was cheap to get in and we were able to watch any of the matches courtside except the big ones. for the big ones they had this HUGE hill with a GIANT tv and an insane speaker system for over a thousand people to watch on. the experience was surreal. i am a huge tennis fan and to be able to go to something like this was out if this world. the place was huge, like its own city. restaurants, bars, everything something like 30 courts. it was my first chance to see a grass court in person and i am in love. i bought a t shirt and i think i might go back on sunday for the finals just to watch them again, as it was only 15pounds to get in. we went to a play at the globe, which is the famous theater that shakespeare performed at and the play was super lame. the globe was awesome but the play itself sucked considering we had to stand up for 2 and a half hours in the yard and listen to people speak in accent so bad i couldnt even understand them. today was saturday and we took to the city. we went to westminster abbey, big ben, parliament, and cruised the thames river. the thames is really cool, such a relaxing place its really what london is all about. we went inside this cathedral called st pauls and it was awesome. you had to climb over 500 steps to get to the top and the view was awe inspiring. other than that things are good, we are planning on going to fabric tonight which is supposed to be the best night club in london and it stays open till 8am, so that should be fun. anyways ill update this thing again soon, we are doing a river cruise on monday of the thames, and heading to york and bath on wednesday to visit stonehenge and the roman bathes. cheers mates
